SUMEC Party Secretary, Chairman Yang Yongqing Honored “2021-2022 National Outstanding Entrepreneur”

On September 16th, the 2022 National Enterprises Day and China Entrepreneurs Annual Meeting sponsored by China Enter-prise Confederation and China Enterprise Di-rectors Association was held in Baotou. Yang Yongqing, Party Secretary and Chairman of SUMEC, was awarded the honorary title of “National Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year 2021-2022”, a recognition of SUMEC’s long-standing sound development.

The selection of “National Outstanding Entrepreneurs” is an important nationwide event organized by China Enterprise Con-federation and China Enterprise Directors Association. It aims to support healthy entre-preneurial growth in China, champion entre-preneurship, and highlight the crucial role that entrepreneurs play in advancing techno-logical advancement and hastening the shift in the mode of economic development. This event is widely influential, representative, and authoritative.

Held every two years since its inception in 2002, this event has awarded the honorary title to entrepreneurs like Zhang Ruimin, Lu Guanqiu, Zong Qinghou, and Pony Ma. This year’s selection has given recognition to 189 outstanding entrepreneurs, including XCMG Party Secretary and Chairman Wang Min, CRRC Party Secretary and Chairman Sun Yongcai, ZTE Party Secretary and Chairman Li Zixue, Shagang Group Party Secretary and Chairman Shen Bin, and Gree Group Board Chairman and President Dong Mingzhu.
